The idea of a riverboat wedding reception is one of my personal favorites. The Gateway Clipper is just spacious enough for guests to spread out and enjoy themselves, but small enough to be inviting rather than intimidating. Warning: this will encourage mingling.

Boat weddings are beautiful. It provides some perfect opportunities for photography. The only draw back is that it gets rocky - the bride and groom better be sure-footed.

This is my kind of wedding, what an amazing idea! I'm sure guests would love it. Be sure to keep in mind that a sand unity ceremony would be the perfect alternative to the unity candle - imagine what the breeze from a moving cruise boat could do to the candle's flame...not something anyone wants to happen during such a symbolic ritual.

The best thing about this is all the options you have, that's usually the hardest part of the wedding. I can get everything in one- and in a unique and interesting setting.
I went on a Christmas party riverboat cruise but never one for a wedding, I would love to have one or be a guest on one though!
